News: With a heavy focus on its new Creative Cloud subscriptions lately (currently 60% off), TechHive confirmed with Adobe yesterday that it is cutting off physical, boxed sales of its Creative Suite apps.
- Spacious orchestral arrangements, experimental indie pop, floor-filling electronic music or enthralling metal - Cubase offers dedicated tools for all of these musical.
- Actually I own Auria Pro and Cubasis 2. The former is good for audio but for midi is a total disaster. Probably one of the worst app for midi recording. The latter is stable, good on midi and audio. Auria is way better for audio recording and editing, Cubasis is the best for midi a good for audio.
As Adobe continues to focus on delivering world-class innovation through Creative Cloud and digital fulfillment, we will be phasing out shrink-wrapped, boxed versions of Creative Suite and Acrobat products.”

Cubasis For Mac
YouTuber David Harry tested out Cubasis 3 on a new Mac mini with Apple's M1 ARM chip.
Video Description:
Steinberg Cubasis 3 iOS iPad iPhone App On Apple Silicon M1 Chip - Basic Overview On A Mac Mini M1
Just a basic overview showing Cubasis 3 running on an Apple Mac Mini M1 desktop computer.
This Cubasis 3 is the iOS IPA App that was extracted from my iPad Pro using iMazing and then installed on my Apple Mac Mini M1.
This can of course be done because any of the new Mac computers, the Apple Mac Mini M1, the Apple MacBook Pro M1 and the Apple MacBook Air M1 are all directly compatible with the IOS IPA App installer versions due to them having the new Apple Silicon M1 Chip in them and running Mac OS Big Sur.
Once Steinberg have released Cubasis 3 officially for the Apple Silicon M1 Mac computers I will do some videos about Cubasis 3 running on my Mac Mini M1.
Now that I have my Mac Mini M1 I will also be installing Cubase on it as well and maybe compare Cubase to Cubasis as they will be on the same hardware, it could make for some interesting comparisons. It will also be interesting to see how Cubase runs on Apple Silicon with the M1 processor and how Cubase is with Big Sur MacOS. More so interesting for me as I've only ever used Cubase on Atari and Windows.
